About Saint-Émilion Wine Tasting
A guide for a day among the vines
Saint-Émilion Wine Tasting is an independent guide for everyone who wants to taste wine in Saint-Émilion, whether on a half day from Bordeaux or on a longer stay. Here you will find which wine tours leave Bordeaux, how a half day compares with a full day, which estates welcome visitors, how to get there by train, car or bike, what the classification and the grapes mean, what tastings cost and when to go.
The site is available in English and five additional languages. It is written first in English.
How we research
Every number on our pages comes from a source that we link to at the bottom of the page: the Office de Tourisme du Grand Saint-Émilionnais, the Conseil des Vins de Saint-Émilion, the Bordeaux wine council, the tour listings on GetYourGuide, and the climate data from NOAA. Information about individual tours comes from the tour listings themselves.
Estates, tours and the village change with the seasons. That is why we also tell you when a visit needs a reservation, when the harvest is on and when the village is at its busiest.
How we make money
Saint-Émilion Wine Tasting is funded through the GetYourGuide affiliate program. When you book through one of our links, we receive a commission; your price remains the same. There are no advertising banners here, and we do not sell your data.
Who is behind it
Saint-Émilion Wine Tasting is run by Lukas Weber from Munich. You will find all details about the provider in the legal notice. The easiest way to send questions, comments, or corrections is to email [email protected].
